Tags in Craigslist Posts
Tagging in Craigslist Posts allow you to get more exposure to customers looking for similar vehicles like the ones you have advertised in Craigslist.
Tags in Craigslist Keywords
Adding "Tags" to Craigslist posts will display your posts on different search queries across Craigslist.
The "Tags" are built to simplify your way of writing automated relevant keywords on each post.
Here are the available Tags:
| [VIN] | The VIN number of the vehicle. |
| [STOCK] | The stock number of the vehicle. |
| [YEAR] | The year of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [MAKE] | The make name of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [MODEL] | The model of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [TRIM] | The trim of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [BODY] | The body style of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [PRICE] | The price of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [MILEAGE] | The mileage of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [EXCOLOR] | The exterior color of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [INCOLOR] | The interior color of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [ENGINE] | The engine of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [TRANSMISSION] | The transmission of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [DOORS] | The number of doors of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [DRIVETRAIN] | The drivetrain of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [FUEL] | The fuel type of the vehicle being advertised. |
| [FINDOWNPAY] | The percentage or amount of the downpayment. (Whichever is selected in dealership settings or the vehicle level.) |
| [FINSALESTAX] | The percentage of the sales tax. |
| [FININTEREST] | The percentage of the interest of the loan. |
| [FINTERM] | The number of months the monthly payment is calculated on. |
| [FULLPRICE] | Current price of the vehicle. ***Even if you are hiding the price of the vehicle and put this tag, it will show the price. For dealers hiding prices but showing monthly payments, we suggest adding this in the payment disclaimer at the bottom which makes the post compliant and shows how the monthly payment was calculated. |
| [CURPRICE] | Current price of the vehicle in Craigslist Poster. |
| [SIMYEARS] | Adds similar years of the vehicles for better keyword search. |
| [WARRANTY] | Adds the vehicle warranty you have selected. |
| [MODELVAR] | This will show the variations of all model search possibilities. |
| [TRIMVAR] | This will show the variations of all trim search possibilities. |
Special Tags
Adding those tags in the Keywords section will effect your post in different ways:
| [HIDECONTACTINFO] | Hide the default contact info added to each post |
Note: We don't recommend placing any stars (*) around (before or after) the [MODEL] or [TRIM] tags, since they're multiple variations which our system will create automatically, and in the end of progress stars will be added around each keyword.
** All Tags are working in "Location", "Dealer Description" and "Keywords".
*** Tags are updated in high frequency in order to be aligned with Craigslist terms of use and prevent any posts to be later flagged/removed.
