Phone line Minutes and Texts usage

When you click on Admin > Phone on the top right side of the page, you will see two green lines showing how many Minutes and Texts you have left on your Goxee Dealer Plan.

If you hover over either line, it will show you how many Minutes or SMS you’ve used.

How SMS Usage is calculated:

Your plan includes SMS credits, and credits are deducted based on message segments, not “messages sent.”

• A standard SMS segment is up to 160 characters (regular text).
• Longer messages are split into multiple segments, so they use more credits.
  Example: 161–320 characters = 2 segments = 2 credits.
• Messages with Unicode (emojis, special symbols, non-Latin characters) use a different encoding with a smaller per-segment limit, so they can split into more segments and use more credits.

So if you have 10,000 SMS credits, each segment deducts from that total.

That means you can send 100 messages and still use more than 100 credits if some messages are long or include Unicode.

Nothing is “extra” on our side. This is standard SMS segmentation set by mobile carriers.
