VIN decode
Adding a VIN number is the first step to adding a new vehicle.
- In the back-end menu, go to Inventory › Add New Vehicle › VIN Number.
- Enter the VIN Number and choose the style if required.
- If the VIN Number input is correct, the blue boxes below will be populated.
- On certain makes/years/models, you may need to manually select engine, transmission, or gas mileage.
- You can also show or hide the VIN number after it is decoded.

It’s important to correctly input your VIN number. Letters such as I, O and Q will never appear in a correct VIN number.
A VIN number is required if Goxee is feeding vehicles to third party platforms. Classic vehicle VIN numbers will not always be decoded. Manually select everything from the Year to Fuel Economy. |
